Since Ottersim eSIM is a one-time solution, you can simply delete the eSIM once your travel is complete. It’s as easy as it gets! Below are the steps to remove your eSIM.



How to Delete an eSIM on iOS (iPhone):

  1. Open Settings:

    • Tap the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Go to Cellular (or Mobile Data):

    • Scroll down and tap Cellular (or Mobile Data, depending on your region).
  3. Select Your eSIM:

    • Under the Cellular Plans section, find the eSIM you want to delete.
    • Tap on it.
  4. Remove the eSIM:

    • Scroll down and tap Remove Cellular Plan.
    • A confirmation prompt will appear; tap Remove to confirm.
  5. Restart Your Phone (Optional):

    • After removing the eSIM, it’s a good idea to restart your iPhone to ensure the changes take effect properly.

How to Delete an eSIM on Android:

Note: The steps might vary slightly depending on the device manufacturer and software version.

  1. Open Settings:

    • Tap the Settings app on your Android device.
  2. Go to Connections (or Network & Internet):

    • Look for Connections (or Network & Internet, depending on your device) and tap it.
  3. Go to SIM Card Manager (or Mobile Network):

    • Tap SIM Card Manager or Mobile Network.
  4. Select the eSIM:

    • Find the eSIM or mobile plan you want to remove and tap it.
  5. Remove the eSIM:

    • Tap Remove (or Delete) and confirm when prompted.
  6. Restart Your Phone (Optional):

    • Restart your Android device to complete the process.
