No Data or Internet Connection?

Ottersim ensures a superior experience with free switching between operators for the best signal quality and automatic APN setup. If you face issues like no data or internet, follow the steps below.


Common Issues and Solutions:

Verify Your eSIM: Ensure you are using Ottersim eSIM and Data Roaming is turned ON.

Check Network Connection: Confirm that you are connected to the appropriate network.


For iOS:

  1. Go to SettingsMobile/Cellular DataSIMs.
  2. Select Installed Ottersim eSIM.
  3. Navigate to Network Selection.
  4. Turn off Automatic Network Selection.
  5. Choose a supported network from the list of available networks.

If You're Still Unable to Connect:

  1. Go to SettingsCellular and select Ottersim eSIM.
  2. Click on Cellular Data Network.
  3. Ensure the APN is set to wbdata. If not, add this APN.
  4. Restart your device and try again.

Important: Do NOT delete your eSIM, as it will be permanently removed and cannot be reinstalled or used again.


For Android:

  1. Go to SettingsConnectionsMobile NetworksNetwork Operators.
  2. Turn off Automatic Network Selection.
  3. Choose a supported network from the list of available networks.

If You're Still Unable to Connect:

  1. Go to SettingsConnectionsMobile NetworksNetwork Operators.
  2. Select Access Point Names (APN).
  3. Click Add and enter the following settings:
    • Name: Ottersim
    • APN: wbdata
  4. Click the three dots in the top right corner and select Save.
  5. Restart your device and try again.

Important: Do not delete your eSIM, as it will be permanently removed and cannot be reinstalled or used again.
